So much for rebuilding.
Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star bangs out the article of day in which he says the Colts are much further along than anyone would have thought.
The irony of these Colts is that when you break down the component parts, there's not much to see. The defense is right where everyone expected it to be, even a little worse.
The offensive weapons are just as suspect as previously thought.
There are just three areas the Colts are visibly better than analysts like me expected.
Reggie Wayne is leading the NFL in receiving. Raise your hand if you saw that coming.
Andrew Luck isn't just "rookie good." He's verging on "actually good."
Finally, this team has been galvanized by the tragedy surrounding their head coach. They play hard every play, spending themselves on behalf of their mentor.
