Players often make a dramatic jump in productivity between their first and second years in the NFL, and the Colts are hoping for just such a quantum leap from Anthony Castonzo in 2012.
The first-round pick in last year's draft started at left tackle week one of the season, and played well in spots. His progress was slowed, however, by an ankle injury he suffered early in the season.
The painful ankle required offseason surgery, but Castonzo still managed to gut out the year and appeared in 12 games. The pain made it difficult for him to handle speed rushes, and the Colts are hoping to see better play out of him once he heals.
