Peyton Manning: Career Could Be over

I don't know if Peyton Manning is the best quarterback in NFL history. I do know that I have never seen anyone play with such heart, smarts and instincts.
Now Manning may be out for the season and could, in fact, be done as an NFL quarterback. This is not the way it should end. No one should face the fate Manning could face, but Manning of all the players in the league deserves this fate the least.
I want Manning to retire on his terms, when he feels it is time. I guarantee you, that to him, this is not the time. The worst part is that this career-threatening injury did not seem a threat. It was a simple surgery. He should have been ready for Week 1.
I hope and pray that Manning can come back. As a rabid Titans fan I want him to come back ...
