Before the season, the fans in Indianapolis had dreams of their Colts being the first team to ever play in the Super Bowl as their city was the host. It has never been done before and with multiple-time Most Valuable Player and Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning leading their team, it looked like this was an obtainable feat.
But then Peyton went into offseason neck surgery. With the lockout he wasn’t able to rehab his neck with the Colts team doctors. Once the lockout was lifted, Peyton didn’t play in any of the preseason games.
Two weeks before the preseason ended, Manning went under the knife again for another surgery on his neck.
Now, with Manning about to miss his sixth straight game this season, it may lead to the Colts’ sixth loss ...
