When the Indianapolis Colts visit the Houston Texans on Sunday there will probably be more of a focus on who isn't playing rather than who is actually on the field. Both teams are dealing with injuries to star players, with Peyton Manning being out for the Colts and Arian Foster likely missing the game for the Texans. The NFL odds show that the experts think Manning's loss is more critical as Houston is favored by 8-points over Indy.
The loss of Manning is something that is tough to quantify. He has been under center for this team for every meaningful game dating back to 1998. He practically ran this team as the offensive coordinator, calling and changing plays at the line of scrimmage.
