Before you throw me into the asylum, hear me out.
Nobody’s saying that Peyton Manning’s third neck surgery in two years won’t have any effect on the Colts offense. But they’re hardly dead in the water for the 2-3 months that the NFL icon is expected to miss.
First of all, If we could cut the jokes for a minute with regard to Kerry Collins, the guy’s not a horrible quarterback. He got a $14 million contract for a reason. He has won the AFC South once before, when he led Tennessee to a 13-3 record in 2008.
