Wake up, Indianapolis Colts.
In what was quite possibly the most ridiculous play in NFL history, the Colts lined up nearly all of their players on the right side of the field after setting up for a punt on 4th-and-3 toward the end of the third quarter against the New England Patriots.
And then they snapped the ball!
Strange indeed. A flag was thrown for illegal formation, but the Pats declined the penalty and took the ball at Indy's 36-yard line.
They promptly drove the field and scored a touchdown, jumping out to a 34-21 lead.
