Another Favre Season Could Put All-Time Records Out of Manning’s Reach

As Brett Favre decides his future with the Minnesota Vikings, another NFL Quarterback may be paying close attention. Peyton Manning's road to snatching away some of Favre's all-time records will get much bumpier if the 40 year-old decides to don the Vikings Purple jersey another season.
Favre currently owns the big QB passing records including attempts, completions, yards, and touchdowns. Manning was able to gain some ground on Favre in 2009. How much? He gained a "whopping" 30 completions, 40 attempts, 298 yards, and zero touchdowns. Obviously, Favre needs to retire for Manning to start gaining real ground on these all-time records.
