Andrew Luck's NFL debut did not go exactly as planned. The No. 1 overall pick went 23-of-45, for 309 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. He had a completion rate of 51.1 percent and a quarterback rating of 52.9.
That's not really what Indianpolis Colts fans were expecting. It's one game, but the question has to be asked: Is this a trend or a simple aberration?
We think it's a simple aberration. Here's why.
For one, it was his first game. His first professional game against the big boys of the NFL. He wasn't playing Oregon State. He was playing the Chicago Bears.
