Here's a shocker for you: With the first pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts will select Andrew Luck.
I know. I've been blindsided by the news, too—and the draft hasn't even started yet!
OK, so maybe that's not a total guarantee just yet, though it's close enough that I'd be tempted to bet my measly life's savings on it.
More importantly, fans in Indy had better not be surprised when the Stanford star's arrival doesn't precipitate an instant reversal of the team's fortunes on the football field.
