2012 NFL Draft: Second and Third Round Targets for the AFC South

With one round of the 2012 NFL Draft in the books, each team in the AFC South will be looking to acquire talent to fill holes tonight.
Fan expectations for second and third round picks tend to be out of line with actual production. With a second round pick, teams are hoping to land a solid starter for three to four years, though not necessarily a star.
Anything more than that is a major coup. Third round picks are often solid contributors as well. Very few All-Pro players are taken in the second and third rounds of the draft.
Since 2005, there have been just eight players from the second round who have been named All-Pros, and only one third round player (Justin Tuck). The odds of getting an outright bust are much higher than the odds of getting a star.
Still, second and third round talents can be the backbone of a good team. Here are the players to watch for the AFC South tonight:
