Cam Newton is the only future top pick in the NFL Draft in recent history to throw passes at the NFL combine.
Those looking for Andrew Luck to be the second came home disappointed from Indianapolis.
Andrew Luck surprised no one when he decided to pass on throwing at the NFL Combine. The consensus No. 2 quarterback, Baylor's Robert Griffin III, also declined to throw the ball.
Luck will instead be able to throw on his own turf with his own receivers at his college Pro Day at Stanford. Ironically, Luck's home turf and his receivers will soon be located in the place where he just left: Indianapolis.
Luck did participate in workouts, running an impressive hand timed 4.59 40-yard dash—Cam Newton ran a 4.56 last year. Luck also showcased a 36" vertical leap and a 10'4" broad jump—all great numbers for a quarterba...
