LaRon Landry Released by Colts: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

The Indianapolis Colts have released safety LaRon Landry, according to the team's official website. The team also waived linebacker Andrew Jackson and offensive tackle Xavier Nixon.
Landry spent two seasons with the Colts, recording 150 total tackles, 2.5 sacks and two passes defensed. It's not surprising that the 30-year-old was cut, however, as Stephen Holder of The Indianapolis Star noted:
