Peyton Manning would be plain stupid to play in 2011.
There is legitimately no solid reason for him to even attempt a comeback this season with the Indianapolis Colts, even though he is floating rumors out that he will.
According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Manning is talking about playing in “controlled circumstances” in some games later this season.
He would be limited to red-zone situations and the two-minute drill with the atrocious Colts offense. What’s the point?
The team is 0-10 and has absolutely no hope of making the playoffs.
