The Peyton Manning drama continues to unfold. I wasn’t buying it at first. I think you can credit Brett Favre for that. I just knew he was going to play in Week 1.
So much for that thought.
Now I start to worry if the rumors are true that he won’t play this season. If that happens, is Joseph Addai’s run over?
I only wonder that because Addai has clearly lost a step, and one of his best attributes was being on the same page as Manning. Not only did he pick up the blitz as well as any running back in the league, but was a nice option near the goal line both catching and running the ball.
Addai is the type of player that seems like he’s been in the league longer than he has.
