I know. I know.
I wrote the notorious "F" word.
But, keep in mind, it’s part of my job to give the people what they want, and trending information still says they want to hear about "old what's his name."
Seriously though, it's still in the back of a lot of minds whether Favre is really retired and if he came back where he would be the best fit.
The condition of his legs is a realistic consideration at this point, but I bet the arm still has enough teams serious enough to ponder No. 4.
For example, when news first broke of Peyton Manning not necessarily being ready for the season opener, it didn't take long for Colts Owner Jim Irsay to tweet, "Brad, I'm in Hattiesburg...is it right or left at the Firechief?"
Now, Irsay is known for his somewhat offbeat comments on Twitter, but don't think that the braintrust in Indy didn't at least contemplate the possibility before settling on Ker...
